Research Analyst

• Support Project Execution: Assist with the implementation of the Sandbox pilot project in Africa, including supporting local meetings and events, community engagement and other tasks.
• Coordinate partnerships and manage the implementation of Roadmaps.
• Research and Writing: Conduct research on data governance trends, policies, regulations and sandboxes in Africa.
• Track the work of key organizations in the region working on data governance and innovative approaches to data regulation.
• Assist in the development and drafting of reports, publications, and research workshops.
• Policy Support: Support the day-to-day policy activities of the Datasphere Initiative’s policy team, including tracking of policy trends, participating in meetings, and assisting with reporting.
• Communications and Events: Provide content for communication efforts, including the Datasphere Pulse Newsletter, blog posts, and social media.
• Assist with the organization and execution of events, such as panels, workshops, and partner meetings.
