About the role

  • Build and foster an AI-enabled product and design team at DataSnipper
  • Create and maintain AI design / vibe coding environments using tools like Figma MCP, Claude Code, and others you find valuable
  • Help build our AI SDLC, specifically for the design steps
  • Set up and manage repositories for AI-led design
  • Own and evolve the frontend of our design system, ensuring scalability and consistency
  • Connect the design system with tools so designers, engineers, and product managers can all actively use and experiment with components
  • Establish strong collaboration channels between design, engineering, and product teams
  • Work closely with designers, teaching them code while they generate user insights you can leverage in development

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in design engineering, frontend development, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of design systems and frontend architecture
  • Experience working with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar for engineering and/or design work
  • Interest or experience in AI-driven workflows and tools
  • Experience working with modern design and prototyping tools
  • Ability to bridge design and engineering and communicate effectively across teams
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for enabling others and improving workflows
