About the role
- Collaborate closely with DataRobot customers to help them achieve their organization’s objectives with AI.
- Work with public sector entities -- from the US Federal government, state and local institutions, and medical entities -- on diverse use cases.
- Help technical and non-technical stakeholders identify areas to apply AI and work hand-in-hand with them to leverage DataRobot to meet their needs.
- Use machine learning expertise to creatively define technical approaches to a wide array of prospect use cases.
- Help build trust in DataRobot as an AI partner.
- Lead data science implementation and help develop a Joint Success Plan (JSP).
- Support customers with problem framing, data prep, scripting, model building, model deployment, model management, and output consumption.
- Represent the DataRobot product to various personas across the customer organizations.
- Influence customers through thought leadership by translating complex technical terms into business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor on AI across the customer lifecycle.
- Act internally as the voice of the customer to the Product, informing the direction of future product feature development.
- Present at conferences and/or help create other marketing content.
Requirements
- 5+ years of real-world business experience in a data science role
- 3+ years of experience in customer facing role
- 3+ years experience in Public Sector desired
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative subject
- Hands-on experience building and implementing machine learning or AI models into production for Federal/DoD/IC customers.
- Excellent communication and strong customer interaction skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with a variety of technical tools for the manipulation of data.
- Ability to understand, write and collaborate with Python or R.
- Familiarity with consultative sales process in the data/analytics marketplace (desired)
- Familiarity and/or experience with generative AI concepts and tooling (desired)
- Familiarity with data platform technology integrations (desired)
- Experience dealing with complex customer organizations (desired)
- Fluency with scripting in Python or R (preferably both) (desired)
