Lead coordination with our international accounting advisors to support the preparation, review and filing of statutory financial statements for overseas operations, maintaining compliance with local standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the external audit process of our international entities, working closely with our accounting advisors and auditors to ensure a timely and accurate completion of the audit.
Support certain monthly close activities for our international entities in NetSuite, including the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations and other critical financial analyses.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the international financial reporting and compliance process.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license (or equivalent)
4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on international financial reporting.
Demonstrated expertise in preparing or reviewing statutory financial statements
IFRS and US GAAP experience required, other local GAAP preferred
Proactive work ethic, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organization, time management and project management skills
Agility to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex accounting concepts
Ability to work cross-functionally to obtain all relevant facts, understand the business requirements, articulate the accounting requirements and communicate the conclusions reached
