About the role
- Ensure the quality and continuous evolution of virtual assistants by monitoring performance, identifying friction points, and running a recurring improvement cycle aligned with the client and internal team.
- You will be responsible for end-to-end curation, including:
- Monitor the day-to-day operation of the virtual assistant
- Identify recurring questions, poor responses, content gaps, and conversational frictions
- Propose content adjustments and improvements to the bot's behavior
- Analyze user feedback and experience signals
- Understand the root causes of dissatisfaction and drops in satisfaction
- Turn findings into practical improvement actions
- Monitor the performance of journeys and flows
- Map drop-offs, confusion points, critical steps, and opportunities for simplification
- Recommend adjustments to text, order, clarity, and flow structure
- Track integrations and their impact on experience (in partnership with developers)
- Monitor integration health via API reports, identifying signs of instability that affect the journey (e.g., increases in failures beyond normal levels or drops in success rates). When anomalies are detected, the UX professional documents the perceived impact on the experience and notifies the development team for technical analysis and resolution.
- Analyze human support interactions to identify automation opportunities
- Identify topics that can be converted into content, bot behaviors, or new journeys
- Drive the improvement cycle with the client
- Organize findings and evidence
- Present recommendations and prioritization
- Align what will be executed internally versus what requires client alignment/decision (and, when applicable, commercial follow-up)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX Writer for chatbots/virtual assistants
- Strong ability to read conversational context and propose objective improvements
- Organizational skills and discipline to handle volume and maintain a regular monitoring cadence
- Confidence in client-facing conversations: explain findings, advocate recommendations, and align priorities
- Preferred / Nice-to-have:
- Experience with journey data analysis (funnels, drop-offs, event tracking)
- Familiarity with integrations/APIs (even without coding)
- Conversational best practices across multichannel environments
