About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write, publish, and update knowledge base articles for a cybersecurity Software as a Service (SaaS) platform
  • Test and document platform features
  • Collaborate with a small team to prioritize tasks and set achievable goals
  • Work closely with subject-matter experts and other employees across multiple teams and disciplines to resolve questions, provide solutions, and accomplish mutual goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in a related field (e.g., English, writing, communications, instructional design, software/computer engineering)
  • 1–2 years of work experience as a technical writer, preferably in the technology industry or a related field
  • Excellent command of oral and written English
  • Professional or academic experience with writing, editing, or publishing
  • Proficiency with documentation and publication technologies such as word processing, image editing, and web publishing tools
  • Ability to learn and master new technologies and applications
  • Communication skills for collaborating with team members, subject-matter experts, and stakeholders in other departments
  • Extreme attention to detail and keen observation skills
  • Ability to receive and apply feedback iteratively
  • Ability to learn complex systems and devise and implement accurate and thorough documentation and instructions about these systems
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ask questions when uncertain
  • Research and problem-solving skills for learning and adapting quickly to changes in a fast-paced software release environment
