About the role

  • Build reactive, reusable Angular components (using TypeScript, HTML, and LESS)
  • Prototype new features in collaboration with our designers and UX engineers
  • Build services that connect to RESTful APIs, sending and receiving data, utilizing RxJs to its full potential
  • Review code written by other team members or other teams
  • Help put tools, processes, and documentation in place to improve our code quality
  • Write Unit Tests with Karma/Jasmine alongside the feature you are building
  • Research, inform, and execute front-end architecture changes
  • Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, WebPagetest, or custom tooling

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of proven experience as an Angular Developer
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and Typescript
  • A practical understanding of common design patterns
  • Comfortable with version control systems, branching, merging, rollback, etc. (Git preferred)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices
  • Unit-testing experience
  • Experience working in an Agile team-driven process
