About the role
- Responsible for overall database delivery of the Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Provide expertise in working with Medicaid data
- Support and maintain hardware and software for optimal performance
- Help users fetch data and support major Teradata upgrades
- Perform backup/restore and maintenance by Teradata
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience of at least 5+ years as primary/lead DBA
- 7+ years of experience as a Teradata DBA on Version 15+
- 3+ years of experience with Teradata 6800/1800 system or IntelliFlex
- 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL using SQL Assistant/Teradata Studio
- 3+ years of experience performance tuning in a large database (>5TB)
- Excellent verbal/written communication, end client facing, team collaboration, mentoring skills
