About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The remote SDR will prospect, educate, qualify, and develop both target account leads, and inbound marketing leads to create sales-ready meetings and opportunities.
  • This includes target market penetration, calling on C-suite to front-line managers, social media outreach, following up on marketing-generated leads, webinar and event follow-up, creative campaigns, door opener outreach, and more.
  • Interact with prospects daily via telephone, video, LinkedIn, email, etc.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity.
  • Distribute opportunities to appropriate sales reps, educating each rep as necessary about the opportunity.
  • Effectively handle and overcome prospect objections with confidence.
  • Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values and culture.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year college degree and 2-3 years of customer service or sales development experience that included a high volume of customer and/or sales prospect outreach.
  • Natural affinity to meet, talk, and communicate with new people without fear of rejection as many people say no or are not ready to talk yet.
  • High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative, commitment, and professionalism.
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing abilities.
  • Excellent phone-based sales and customer service skills.
  • Great can-do attitude and desire to learn professional sales.
  • Desire to be part of a great team and continue learning and adapting.
  • Discipline to maintain high activity levels.
  • Competitive mindset focused on achieving goals.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Applications, Salesforce.com and LinkedIn a plus.
