About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The remote SDR will prospect, educate, qualify, and develop both target account leads, and inbound marketing leads to create sales-ready meetings and opportunities.
- This includes target market penetration, calling on C-suite to front-line managers, social media outreach, following up on marketing-generated leads, webinar and event follow-up, creative campaigns, door opener outreach, and more.
- Interact with prospects daily via telephone, video, LinkedIn, email, etc.
- Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity.
- Distribute opportunities to appropriate sales reps, educating each rep as necessary about the opportunity.
- Effectively handle and overcome prospect objections with confidence.
- Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values and culture.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year college degree and 2-3 years of customer service or sales development experience that included a high volume of customer and/or sales prospect outreach.
- Natural affinity to meet, talk, and communicate with new people without fear of rejection as many people say no or are not ready to talk yet.
- High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative, commitment, and professionalism.
- Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritizing abilities.
- Excellent phone-based sales and customer service skills.
- Great can-do attitude and desire to learn professional sales.
- Desire to be part of a great team and continue learning and adapting.
- Discipline to maintain high activity levels.
- Competitive mindset focused on achieving goals.
- Knowledge of MS Office Applications, Salesforce.com and LinkedIn a plus.
