About the role
- Participate in customers' journeys: support discovery of the platform, coach users, and co-develop data science applications from design to deployment
- Help users discover and master the Dataiku platform through user training, office hours, demos, and ongoing consultative support
- Analyse and investigate various kinds of data and machine learning applications across industries and use cases (mainly financial services and insurance)
- Provide strategic input to customer and account teams to help make customers successful
- Scope and co-develop production-level data science projects with customers
- Mentor and educate data scientists and other customer team members to aid career development and growth
- Perform hands-on coding in multiple languages (mostly Python, occasionally R, SQL, PySpark, JavaScript) and apply big data technologies
Requirements
- French and English - fluent
- Curiosity and a desire to learn new technical skills
- Empathy and an eagerness to share your knowledge with colleagues, customers, and the public
- Ability to clearly explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
- Over 5 years of experience with coding (Python, R, SQL)
- Over 5 years of experience building ML models
- Understanding of underlying data systems and platform mechanics such as Cloud architectures, K8S, Spark, and SQL
- Bonus: Experience with Consulting and/or Customer-facing Data Science roles
- Bonus: Experience in the bank & insurance, or manufacturing industries
- Bonus: Experience with Spark, SAS, Data Engineering or MLOps
- Bonus: Experience developing web apps in JavaScript, RShiny, or Dash
- Bonus: Experience building APIs
- Bonus: Experience using enterprise data science tools
- Bonus: Passion for teaching or public speaking
