About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform IMAC/R/D services (Install, Move, Add, Change, Remove) in complex IT environments for public-sector clients
Install, configure, deploy and replace workstation systems and peripheral devices
Administer Active Directory and maintain terminal server environments
Process and qualify service requests and provide 1st and 2nd level support
Support hardware and software for PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile devices on-site, remotely and by phone
Execute hardware rollouts, refresh and lifecycle projects
Onboard new employees including setup and provisioning of IT workstations
Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) as well as maintenance, backup and recovery processes
Create and maintain technical documentation as well as asset and inventory data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (or equivalent); alternatively, career changers with several years of professional experience in a comparable role
Security clearance (SÜ) present or willingness to obtain one
Excellent technical knowledge of workplace systems (PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, smartphones, etc.)
Practical experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems
Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration
Solid networking knowledge, specifically switches and routers
Practical experience with Microsoft Office applications and Office 365
Experience with ticketing systems including asset management
Basic networking know-how (WAN, VLAN, VPN, etc.)
Fluent German language skills and solid English skills
Valid driving license (Class B) required
