About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support ongoing technology refresh and migration initiatives
Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient JAVA-based frontend as well as Python components for the ETL process
Contribute to the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application modernisation and cloud migration efforts
Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Good knowledge and several years of practical experience in Python development
Solid skills in Postgres and SQL
ETL experience is desirable
Strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently
Experience in conceptual work
Excellent understanding of data
Independent and structured working style
Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
