About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and implement modern network technologies
Provide professional support for IT networks with a focus on firewalls
Serve as the point of contact for 2nd and 3rd level support for network-related inquiries
Troubleshoot and resolve faults in the network environment
Perform error analysis, root cause analysis, and develop service improvement strategies
Document the service architecture of various network environments
Create and maintain customer-specific service and operational documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience supporting IT networks
Strong knowledge of firewalls with relevant certification (Fortinet FCP or FCSS)
Basic knowledge of Meraki and HPE network products (desirable)
Good understanding of proxies, web application firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and firewall log analyzers
Experience with Ansible, Python, and using APIs on network components for automation
Experience with network management tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, HP IMC, and Network Node Manager
Familiarity with ITIL and ISO 20000
Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
German language skills are desirable
