About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Planning, design and implementation of enterprise networks, including LAN, WAN and WLAN (Wi‑Fi).
Configuration and administration of network devices such as routers, switches and access points.
Monitoring and optimizing network performance as well as identifying and resolving network issues.
Collaboration with internal teams and external service providers.
Creation and updating of network documentation and technical reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or a comparable qualification.
Extensive experience in planning, implementing and maintaining enterprise networks.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including routing, switching, VLANs and subnetting.
Experience configuring and managing network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper or HPE.
Familiarity with network protocols and standards such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and VLAN trunking.
Knowledge of network security and experience with firewalls, VPNs and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Good knowledge of Wi‑Fi technology and experience configuring WLAN controllers.
Analytical mindset and the ability to identify and resolve complex network problems.
Team player with good communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
