About the role
- Responsible for operation and configuration of LAN and WLAN environments
- Work independently on customer LAN/WLAN projects
- Ensure continuous and highly available operation
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults in network environments
- Perform error analysis and root cause analysis in a network context
- Act as the point of contact for 2nd-level network support
- Prepare reports and document network environments
Requirements
- Completed vocational training (IT specialist) or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Several years' professional experience in network support
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI layers 1–7
- Good knowledge of Cisco Catalyst series and WLAN controllers
- Experience with Cisco Meraki, Cisco Catalyst/DNA Center, and Ruckus LAN/WLAN is a plus
- Knowledge of Ansible, Python, and APIs for network components
- Basic knowledge of network management tools (e.g., Zabbix, NetBox, openNMS)
- Relevant Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are desirable
- Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
- German language skills are a plus
