About the role

  • You support our clients in the event of an incident — when IT security incidents occur, you're on hand to help respond quickly and effectively.
  • You shed light on incidents: you actively participate in forensic analyses after security incidents — identifying root causes, preserving evidence, and contributing to investigations.
  • You analyze incidents thoroughly and produce structured reports with clear recommendations for action — ensuring each incident becomes a learning opportunity.
  • You work closely with other teams to identify security gaps, remediate vulnerabilities, and improve IT security holistically.
  • You stay on top of things: you follow new threats, trends, and technologies in IT security closely — and actively apply this knowledge to your work.

Requirements

  • A qualification in computer science or information security.
  • Some initial experience in information security or incident response — you're not intimidated by logs, alerts, or unusual network traffic.
  • Willingness to travel and to participate in on-call duty — sometimes IT calls at night.
  • Strong team spirit, analytical thinking, and a drive to not only identify problems but to solve them.
  • Motivation for further training and certifications — because knowledge is not only power, but also pretty cool.
  • Strong communication skills in German (very important!) and in English — you should be proficient in both.
