Job Level
About the role
- You support our clients in the event of an incident — when IT security incidents occur, you're on hand to help respond quickly and effectively.
- You shed light on incidents: you actively participate in forensic analyses after security incidents — identifying root causes, preserving evidence, and contributing to investigations.
- You analyze incidents thoroughly and produce structured reports with clear recommendations for action — ensuring each incident becomes a learning opportunity.
- You work closely with other teams to identify security gaps, remediate vulnerabilities, and improve IT security holistically.
- You stay on top of things: you follow new threats, trends, and technologies in IT security closely — and actively apply this knowledge to your work.
Requirements
- A qualification in computer science or information security.
- Some initial experience in information security or incident response — you're not intimidated by logs, alerts, or unusual network traffic.
- Willingness to travel and to participate in on-call duty — sometimes IT calls at night.
- Strong team spirit, analytical thinking, and a drive to not only identify problems but to solve them.
- Motivation for further training and certifications — because knowledge is not only power, but also pretty cool.
- Strong communication skills in German (very important!) and in English — you should be proficient in both.
Benefits
- Individual onboarding with a personal mentor — you won't be thrown in at the deep end. Unless you want to be.
- No two days are the same: challenging, varied, and autonomous — but never boring.
- Flat hierarchies instead of a tangle of reporting lines. Say it directly.
- Flexibility as you need it: hybrid work, flexible hours, additional vacation days — this is a lived reality with us.
- Modernly equipped offices: height-adjustable desks, two monitors, quiet breakout areas and open spaces — just the way you like it.
- Bike leasing (JobRad) & team spirit: whether road bike or e‑bike — we'll help get you set up with your new wheels. And yes, we celebrate sport together (including sponsorship!).
- Retirement provision? We have it — generally with employer contributions.
- Our corporate benefits invite you to shop and enjoy experiences.
