About the role

  • Support ongoing technology refresh and migration initiatives
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient JAVA-based frontend and Java components
  • Contribute to the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application modernization and cloud migration efforts
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability throughout development lifecycle

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Java development and object-oriented programming
  • Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL and ideally some exposure to PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with IBM DataStage is a plus
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs, Git, and modern development practices
  • Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus
