About the role

You design, create and maintain automated tests and test scenarios for web front-ends and APIs
Executing automated tests, identifying defects and communicating them to the development team are also part of your responsibilities
You extend our test sets for regression and smoke testing
Working with Jira, Xray and Katalon is part of your daily routine
You integrate automated tests into build and deployment pipelines in GitLab
You analyze specifications and coordinate automation needs with our business analysts and test management
You round off your workday by closely collaborating with developers, testers and project managers (all genders)

At least 5 years of experience in test automation for web applications and APIs (SOAP and REST)
Strong knowledge of Java and Groovy
Familiar with Continuous Integration and integrating tests into GitLab pipelines and Docker
Experience with test-supporting tools such as Xray, Katalon and Gatling
ISTQB certification "Certified Tester Foundation Level"
Team and communication skills, analytical thinking, structured working style, self-initiative
Very good German language skills, spoken and written (at least B2)
Knowledge of BDD with Cucumber and Gherkin completes your profile
