About the role

  • Execute operational tasks in the area of storage and backup as part of an exciting new project
  • Independently analyze and resolve complex infrastructure issues
  • Responsible for patch and change management
  • Collaborate within an experienced team to ensure stable IT operations
  • Document performed tasks and implemented solutions

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience operating storage and backup systems
  • Experience with server infrastructures on Windows and Linux (RHEL)
  • Knowledge of the following or comparable technologies: HP Alletra Storage, Dell NetWorker Backup, Fibre Channel, LTO drives and tape backup systems, and HP ProLiant servers
  • Independent, solution-oriented working style
  • Basic knowledge of the technologies in use and willingness to familiarize yourself with new systems
  • Responsible approach to patch and change management processes
