• Recruit, build, manage, and develop a world-class team of Enterprise AEs, Regional Directors, and Regional Vice Presidents covering FED and SLED markets.
• Own Public Sector revenue targets and lead the organization to consistent quarterly and annual attainment.
• Define and execute market expansion strategies across FED and SLED segments, including whitespace identification, territory optimization, and prioritization of high-value agency and state opportunities.

• Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase. Communicate Datadog’s value based on activities and work with customers on any identified issues or concerns to successful conclusion
• Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
• Deliver product and technical briefings / presentations to potential clients
• Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input both wins and losses
• Proactively engage and communicate with customers and Datadog business/technical teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape

Enterprise Sales Engineer – Key Accounts, EMEA

• Partner with the Sales Team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision and strategy to customers.
• Manage a team of leaders and individual contributors, helping to ensure customer success pre-sale;
• Assist recruiting efforts to find and hire top talent within your region. Mentor/coach new hires during on-boarding to ensure proper ramping of skills and capabilities
• Ensure that your team is enabled to support all required Datadog solutions along with key technical and soft skills
• Develop a close working relationship with Product Management, Support, and Enablement to ensure continuity between pre and post sales activities
• Deliver semi-annual performance reviews along with collaborating on and executing individual development plans
