About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with Customer, Legal, Service Lines, Product, and Finance teams to create, review, and finalise consistent contracts
  • Support customer and supplier engagements with timely, accurate legal and commercial advice
  • Participate in the core legal and commercial team specialising in technology contracts and engagements
  • Assess legal and commercial risks related to Datacom’s business activities
  • Review technology contracts, including outsourcing agreements, services engagements, software licensing, and development agreements
  • Draft clear, concise, enforceable contractual documentation and ensure consistency across documents
  • Translate business and operational requirements into contractual terms, outcomes, and obligations
  • Review and approve documents to protect the company’s contractual posture and comply with company policy
  • Advise management on contractual rights and obligations and interpret terms and conditions
  • Contribute to negotiations and structure terms that protect value while enabling growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Deep domain knowledge of technology contracts, particularly services and outsourcing engagements, software licensing and development, and systems integration engagements
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience handling complex contracts involving legal, commercial, operational, and reputational risks
  • Strong drafting skills covering privacy and data protection, intellectual property, liabilities, warranties and indemnities, and termination rights
  • Strong ability to analyse legal and commercial risks in technology contracts
  • Exceptional demonstrated ability to explain legal concepts clearly to business stakeholders
