About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end design of enterprise-scale integration solutions using the full Azure Integration Services stack
Champion Enterprise Integration Patterns, including Message Routing, Content-Based Router, and Claim Check
Define and oversee the API Management strategy, including policies, security frameworks, and developer engagement
Architect high-throughput asynchronous systems using Service Bus and Event Grid
Advise on modernising legacy middleware such as BizTalk and IBM MQ
Establish and document integration best practices, naming conventions, and reusable frameworks
Conduct architectural reviews and deep-dive technical assessments
Translate technical complexity into actionable insights for senior business leaders and non-technical stakeholders
Own the integration roadmap and define AIS usage patterns and standards
Ensure integration solutions are robust, secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in technical roles
Minimum 5+ years specialising in architecting Azure Integration Services-centric solutions
Deep hands-on knowledge of Logic Apps Standard and Consumption, API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid
Thorough understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and their practical application
Proficiency in Liquid Templates, XSLT, and JSON/XML mapping
Expert knowledge of Managed Identities, Azure Key Vault, and private networking
Experience designing secure on-premises-to-Azure connectivity using Data Gateways or Private Links
Proven experience in a consulting or lead architect role
Ability to influence and guide enterprise-level clients
