About the role
- Design, engineer, and deliver technical solutions for clients using Azure services
- Focus on automation and Infrastructure-as-Code for platform delivery
- Provide expert technical guidance and solutions to resolve business challenges
- Deliver cloud platform solutions on Azure including implementations, migrations and transformations
- Leverage platform and application/workload lifecycle management to achieve client outcomes
- Maintain and build strong internal and external client relationships
- Contribute to standards, practices and practice initiatives within the Public Cloud practice
Requirements
- 5+ years in IT, with at least 3 years’ experience in cloud project delivery or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience delivering complex Azure cloud projects
- Strong technical knowledge of Azure platform engineering
- Experience deploying Azure Landing Zones using Azure CAF best practices
- Migration experience including lift-and-shift and cloud-native transformations
- Intermediate to expert experience with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and/or Terraform
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot to accelerate development productivity
- Knowledge of accelerator-based deployments and vending architectures
- Advanced Azure security and networking skills (Azure AD, RBAC, Azure Policy, Azure Security Center, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall)
- Container orchestration and management experience (AKS, ACI, Docker)
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems in cloud environments
- Integration experience with identity and federation providers such as Azure AD, ADFS, or third-party SSO solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn emerging Microsoft Cloud and AI technologies
- Microsoft certifications desirable (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate)
