About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Providing Level 3 technical support across servers, storage, networks, and Microsoft environments.
- Managing incidents, problems, and service requests; ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Performing system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.
- Supporting project delivery and contributing to continuous improvement activities.
- Acting as an escalation point and mentor for junior engineers within the Managed Services team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in Level 3 support or senior systems engineering within managed services or enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise across Windows Server, AD, Exchange, M365, VMware, and backup technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions under time pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with experience engaging with customers and technical teams alike.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and automation tools (PowerShell, scripting).
- Certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, or ITIL.
- Experience working in ITIL-aligned environments.
- Familiarity with security and compliance processes.
- Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain Baseline or NV1 security clearance is mandatory.
