About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Designing, building, and deploying applications for our customers using the latest .NET technologies, with a strong emphasis on scalability and performance.
- Working closely with customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions that solve real-world business challenges.
- Providing technical advice and consultancy to our customers
- Working closely with stakeholders and taking accountability for the technical experince and outcomes
- Staying across the latest tech trends, models, and tools, and bring innovative ideas into solution design.
- Contributing to establishing best practices, frameworks, and reusable components for development at Datacom.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to intuitive, user-facing tools and APIs that deliver measurable business value to our customers.
- Working to ensure that systems are developed within agreed budgets and time frames and achieve necessary design and systems security standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A passion for and willingness to explore the potential of AI solutions in software development
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in a Senior Developer or Tech Lead role
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a customer-facing context
- An open mind and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- We are open to finding the right blend of technical skills and experience drawing from the following:
- - .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET, and C#
- - RESTful API design and development
- - Front-end development skills (e.g. React, Angular, HTML, CSS)
- - Proficiency in database design and management (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL)
- - Experience or knowledge of Azure cloud computing platforms (or equivalent)
