About the role

  • Serve as a Citrix Engineer supporting technology-based solutions.
  • Responsible for the support of Citrix environments, including remote support and onsite visits.
  • Participate in on-call roster for after-hours support.
  • Gather requirements and work on Citrix and NetScaler projects.
  • Provide technical maintenance, support services, and maintain documentation.
  • Deliver services to customers ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Manage infrastructure, driving service process improvement.
  • Scope and work on projects utilizing Citrix and NetScaler expertise.
  • Coach others in the team, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

  • 3 years' experience as a System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies.
  • Experience and background supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies.
  • Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration.
  • Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration.
  • User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow.
  • Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products.
  • Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
  • Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault.
