Assistant – Travel Expense Audit, Accounting

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support in reviewing and processing travel expenses
- Review and posting of travel expense reports
- Recording and verification of receipts (flights, hotels, business meals)
- Assisting with the assignment and verification of tax rates
- Maintaining open items and following up on outstanding matters
- Performing plausibility checks and clarifying queries
- Support in the day-to-day operational work of the accounting department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commercial background – e.g., vocational training, initial experience in accounting, or office/administrative roles
- Careful and structured approach when working with numbers
- Some practical experience in accounting or travel expense processing is an advantage but not required
- Reliability and conscientiousness
- Willingness to work in a team and to handle questions or mistakes transparently
- German language skills at least at B2 level
