About the role
- Supporting the management and Sales Lead in acquiring, servicing and developing customers in the areas of broadband expansion, energy and infrastructure
- Building, maintaining and expanding a strong network with network operators, municipalities, project companies, partner firms and clients
- Identifying new business opportunities in planning, permitting, documentation, data management and consulting
- Independently preparing proposals, presentations and cost estimates in close coordination with the technical departments
- Strategically managing existing customers and supporting contract negotiations and tender processes
- Collaborating on the development of framework agreements, pricing models and partnerships
- Supporting the further development of the sales strategy and market positioning
- Using and maintaining CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) to document and track leads
- Participating in trade shows, professional events and industry conferences to continuously expand the DBE network
Requirements
- Completed commercial or technical training (e.g. industrial clerk, technical draftsman, geomatics specialist) or a degree in business, engineering, geoinformation, infrastructure management or related fields
- Initial to several years of experience in sales or project business, ideally in FTTH / infrastructure / engineering / telecommunications environments
- Strong networking and communication skills and enjoyment of customer contact
- Structured and independent working style with entrepreneurial thinking
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for business across the country
- Confident presence, strong presentation skills and negotiation ability
- Technical understanding of network planning or documentation is an advantage
- Proficient user of MS Office, ideally with experience in HubSpot, Monday.com or Power BI
- German business fluent, English skills are an advantage
