About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish long-term relationships with key suppliers
Conduct RFIs/RFPs based on Data4's requirements
Set up and manage energy supply contracts
Support the long-term hedging strategy through the execution of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
Support the short-term strategy by monitoring the forward market and advising on timing for positions
Manage complementary service contracts in countries where required
Identify innovative solutions to meet customers' 24/7 carbon-free requirements
Monitor energy markets across Europe
Collaborate with Country Directors and their Finance & Operations teams
Consolidate all energy-related costs across countries for customer billing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar energy sourcing/procurement role covering more than one country
Experience negotiating and signing at least one Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and handling long-form contract negotiations, working closely with consulting firms and law firms
Proficiency in French (minimum) and professional working proficiency in English
A third language (German, Spanish or Italian) is a plus
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Fundamental and technical analysis skills to evaluate electricity markets
