About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in defining technical architectures within the security and network scope
Implement technical architectures and ensure they meet the expressed functional requirements
Ensure operational continuity at levels 2 and 3
Analyze and monitor infrastructure performance to identify and resolve performance issues
Define and execute action plans to achieve expected performance levels
Resolve infrastructure-related incidents and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Identify root causes of recurring issues and propose solutions to prevent recurrence
Ensure IT infrastructures comply with security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI, ISO 27001)
Implement monitoring systems to guarantee proper infrastructure operation and plan preventive maintenance activities
Provide support to end users and partners for issues or questions related to security and network scope
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and technologies to maximize efficiency and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree or equivalent (Bac+2) with a minimum of 8 years' experience in firewall administration and network infrastructure within large/medium enterprises in an international context
Expertise in network architectures (LAN, WAN, VPN) and wireless technologies
Expertise with Fortinet security technologies
Expertise with Cisco architectures
Expertise in performance management and network optimization practices
Knowledge of standards and regulations (e.g., PCI, ISO 27001) related to data security
Experience using monitoring tools (such as Grafana, Nagios, or Zabbix) to ensure system availability and performance
Knowledge and understanding of general system concepts, authentication mechanisms, NAS/SAN
Strong knowledge of configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) to ensure consistent configurations and reduce human error
Professional-level English
ITIL methodology (would be a plus)
