About the role
- Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows/Linux), storage systems, and databases.
- Manage cloud and on-prem hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, VMware, Hyper-V).
- Oversee network devices (routers, firewalls, switches, VPNs) at toll plazas and central offices.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and capacity utilization; apply patches, updates, and upgrades.
- Implement backup and recovery solutions to prevent data loss.
- Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions; enforce identity and access policies.
- Support Single Sign-On (SSO), MFA, and role-based access for tolling applications.
- Manage antivirus, endpoint security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems; ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and government transport security standards.
- Respond to system outages and network failures at toll plazas; provide Level 2/3 support and collaborate with vendors.
- Maintain system configuration documentation, network diagrams, inventory records, and develop SOPs; support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator / IT Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer .
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration .
- Experience with network administration (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs) .
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) .
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) .
- Certifications (preferred): MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate .
