About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contract Administration & Negotiation — Draft, review, negotiate, and execute a broad range of contracts including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), vendor agreements, customer storage contracts, and purchase orders
  • Manage contracts across multiple warehouse branches and client accounts, ensuring terms are current and compliant.
  • Interpret contract provisions and advise internal stakeholders on obligations, risks, and recommended courses of action.
  • Prepare and distribute contracts and related documentation for customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Identify and assess contractual risk exposure, particularly related to equipment liability, insurance requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations as well as internal company policies.
  • Oversee construction and facility-related insurance requirements tied to warehousing operations and equipment handling.
  • Maintain and manage business licenses, permits, and notary documentation as required.
  • Partner closely with finance, accounting, operations, business development, and program teams on contract administration activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor and key account relationship management related to contractual matters.
  • Coordinate with safety management teams to ensure contract terms align with site safety standards and requirements.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready contract files and ensure all documentation meets regulatory and company requirements.
  • Manage contract data in systems such as QuickBase, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Track contract milestones, renewals, and expirations to ensure timely action and continuity of service.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of contracts administration or management experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, construction, or supply chain
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or a related field (MBA a plus)
  • Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual documents independently
  • Strong working knowledge of risk management, compliance, and insurance requirements in an operational environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with contract management tools such as QuickBase or similar platforms
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex contract language clearly
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with construction, vendor, and supply chain contract frameworks
  • Contract management certification (CPCM, CFCM, or equivalent)
  • Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain
