Sales Development Representative, SDR
DashClicksSales Development Representative (SDR) managing leads and setting up sales meetings for a marketing software company. Fully remote position with opportunities for growth and professional development.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Reach out to prospects through cold calls, emails etc.
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) Clients and account executives
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage account executives for next steps
- Manage a detailed report on client reach-out status and report to the supervisor with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
- Keep records accurate and up-to-date
- Timely & comprehensive follow-up with leads to convert them into scheduled calls with Account Executives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Sales Development: The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales development, preferably in the software and marketing services sector.
- Resilience in Facing Rejection: A crucial aspect of this role is the ability to maintain high morale and efficiency despite frequent rejections.
- Expertise in the Industry: The SDR should have a deep understanding of our business domain.
- Lead Nurturing Skills: Apart from qualifying leads for immediate demos, the SDR should also be adept at nurturing unqualified leads.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing, and social outreach.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Fair understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
