About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers and prospects
Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies
Translate enterprise customer requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable Dash0 implementations
Develop and execute Proofs of Concept highlighting Dash0's technical capabilities
Deliver technical demos and presentations to engineering and executive audiences
Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives throughout the sales cycle
Provide architecture guidance and best practices for observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design
Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates
Partner with Product Management to provide technical insights influencing roadmap and feature priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing
Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization
Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices
Ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and Proofs of Concept
Excellent communication skills for explaining observability concepts to engineers and executive decision-makers
Collaborative ability across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
Business travel required
US-based availability; role can be based anywhere on the East Coast
Experience with HubSpot, technical content contributions, CNCF ecosystem familiarity, and high-growth startup experience are nice to have
