About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Technical and People Leadership: Coordinate and support the development of the Analytics Engineering team.
  • Data Architecture and Modeling: Ensure that solutions are built according to established data modeling principles.
  • Cloud Data Warehouse Governance: Oversee the organization, cost management, and performance of the deployed data environments.
  • Product Management and Delivery: Act with a strong sense of ownership over data products.
  • Hands-on: Support the technical team on complex architectures and data validations through strong SQL expertise.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous leadership experience (e.g., Coordinator, Tech Lead, or Data Project Lead).
  • Advanced SQL proficiency (query optimization, window functions, stored procedures).
  • Solid practical knowledge of Fact/Dimension (star schema) modeling methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with Snowflake (architecture and optimization).
  • Preferred: Prior experience in the healthcare sector (hospitals, laboratories, payers, or diagnostic medicine).
  • Preferred: Knowledge of modern transformation tools such as dbt or Dataform.
