Job Level

About the role

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical reference for engineering and product management, translating complex business requirements into the design of distributed, resilient systems
  • Architecture and Design: Design solutions for high concurrency and low latency. Define API standards, data modeling and integration strategies (synchronous/asynchronous)
  • Operational Excellence: Raise the bar for quality (automated testing, observability, CI/CD). Ensure systems meet non-functional requirements (SLA, 99.99% availability, security)
  • Mentorship: Develop Senior engineers and Tech Leads through critical code reviews and pairing on difficult "wicked problems"
  • Modernization: Lead strangler-fig initiatives to migrate legacy systems or monoliths to microservices without disrupting Dasa's operations
  • Interoperability: Design and maintain complex integrations between hospitals', laboratories' legacy systems and our platform, ensuring data fidelity
  • Engineering Culture: Foster communities of practice (Guilds), promote technology events and elevate the company's technical employer brand
  • Cross-Domain Problem Solving: Act as an internal consultant to resolve critical architectural bottlenecks that prevent business scaling (e.g., bottlenecks in medical report generation/visualization)

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record of technical leadership on mission-critical systems
  • Tech Stack: Java/Kotlin, NodeJS, React, Cloud (GCP – plus), AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Relational databases (Postgres/Oracle/SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB), Event-driven architectures
  • Security and Privacy: Solid knowledge of LGPD, protection of Sensitive Personal Data (PII/PHI) and Secure-by-Design principles
  • Leadership by Influence: Ability to navigate technical, clinical and business teams, aligning conflicting expectations
  • Differentials: Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and influence teams without direct authority; experience with complex scheduling systems; knowledge of architectures for diagnostic AI or Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS)
Benefits
  • Food: Meal voucher / food allowance or on-site cafeteria (depending on location)
  • Health: Health insurance and life insurance
  • Professional Development: Dasa University, Development and Career Cycle, Technology/PMAX academies and the Crescer (Grow) program within Dasa
  • Other: Transportation voucher and performance-based bonus (PPR)
