About the role

  • Support the calculation and verification of ISS (municipal service tax) on service invoices.
  • Assist in the configuration/parameterization of tax systems to ensure correct withholding and proper identification/display of ISS.
  • Prepare indirect tax reports to support management and audit.
  • Monitor municipal legislation and impacts of the tax reform (IBS/CBS).
  • Provide support for ancillary tax filings (ISS declarations, EFD-Reinf, DEMED, DEVEC, etc.).
  • Interact with billing, accounting, legal and audit teams.
  • Ability to interpret tax legislation.
  • Good communication skills for interaction with billing and legal areas.
  • Proactivity and curiosity to keep up with legal changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Knowledge of ISS legislation (Complementary Law 116/2003 and municipal regulations).
  • Basic understanding of IBS and CBS (tax reform and transition).
  • Basic knowledge of ICMS and other indirect taxes.
  • Experience with calculation, withholding and payment of ISS.
  • Familiarity with NFS-e and configuration of tax systems.
  • Advanced Excel and BI tools will be a plus.
  • Experience with corporate ERP systems (SAP, TAX ONE) with fiscal module.
