About the role
- Understand, investigate and work to improve the detection capabilities of Darktrace/Email
- Analyze cybersecurity incidents reported globally by customers of Darktrace/Email
- Pinpoint distinctive properties and understand the system’s decision making engine
- Propose improvements to the decision making
- Summarize findings in written form to relevant stakeholders, notably customers
- Involved in the processes that drive the development of this tool
- Understand the email threat landscape at its most advanced
Requirements
- Familiarity with Darktrace products, the /Email console in particular
- Knowledge of basic email cybersecurity concepts
- An ability to explain technical concepts clearly, both formally (responding to customers) and casually (with peers)
- An ability to reason logically in unfamiliar situations
- An ability to solve problems creatively
- No knowledge of programming is required for the role
- Familiarity with basic data science concepts would be generally useful
