About the role

  • Understand, investigate and work to improve the detection capabilities of Darktrace/Email
  • Analyze cybersecurity incidents reported globally by customers of Darktrace/Email
  • Pinpoint distinctive properties and understand the system’s decision making engine
  • Propose improvements to the decision making
  • Summarize findings in written form to relevant stakeholders, notably customers
  • Involved in the processes that drive the development of this tool
  • Understand the email threat landscape at its most advanced

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Darktrace products, the /Email console in particular
  • Knowledge of basic email cybersecurity concepts
  • An ability to explain technical concepts clearly, both formally (responding to customers) and casually (with peers)
  • An ability to reason logically in unfamiliar situations
  • An ability to solve problems creatively
  • No knowledge of programming is required for the role
  • Familiarity with basic data science concepts would be generally useful
