About the role
- Leading and managing a team of 5-10 personnel, providing strategic guidance and oversight for the development and implementation of innovative, executable agile strategies.
- Driving the deployment of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity services and solutions for government agencies.
- Serving as a primary consultant for strategic assessment, strategy development and execution, management consulting services, and cybersecurity/DevSecOps consulting services.
- Acting as a key liaison and interact with all stakeholders across the software factory, including requirements engineers, developers, platform engineers, security teams, and executive-level sponsors.
- Managing and producing high-quality deliverables for client engagements, particularly in support of establishing and maturing new software factories.
- Demonstrating creative thinking and superior problem-solving skills in complex environments.
- Communicating in an organized, knowledgeable, and persuasive manner, both in written and verbal formats, especially when briefing senior military leadership.
- Identifying and proactively addressing client needs, displaying the ability to contribute to the development of a business vision and effectively manage implementation efforts.
- Managing and/or contributing significantly to project planning, execution, and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field; or in lieu of a degree, 3 years of equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing projects and/or leading technical teams within a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) software development methodologies
- Proven experience in process improvement and driving efficiencies within software delivery or IT operations
- Deep knowledge of DevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines, including typical tools such as SAST/DAST, dependency checkers, unit testing frameworks, and code quality checkers
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud environments from major cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and associated security considerations (e.g., IaaS vs. PaaS)
- Strong familiarity with DoD Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), Assessment and Authorization (A&A), and concepts like "bring-your-own-ATO" or "control inheritance."
- Ability to articulate FISMA, FedRAMP levels, and DoD Impact Levels
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across complex military organizations and effectively brief senior leadership
- Exceptional customer service, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be clearable up to TS/SCI.
- US Citizenship and currently possess an active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
