About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings
- Consolidate entities, including balance sheets and income statements
- Ensure elimination of intercompany balances and accuracy of financial statements
- Ensure correct application of current accounting standards, including BR GAAP and IFRS/CPCs
- Analyze variances in balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare management reports for senior leadership
- Operate and configure accounting routines in the SAP Business One ERP
- Ensure integrity of information integrated across modules
- Provide direct support and respond to audit requests
- Ensure process compliance and delivery of documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CRC registration is highly desirable
- Practical and systemic mastery of SAP Business One
- Strong experience consolidating financial statements for domestic and/or international companies
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards, such as IFRS 15 / CPC 47
- Knowledge of direct and indirect tax calculation
- Advanced level of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of other data analysis tools, such as PowerQuery, is a plus
- Hands-on profile
- Excellent communication skills to interact with other business areas
- Resilience to work under closing deadlines
