About the role
- Technical management and maintenance of biogas plants
- Responsible for the technical oversight of biogas plants and combined heat and power (CHP) units
- Team leadership and planning of staff deployment
- Implementation and upkeep of service and maintenance concepts
- Ensuring and monitoring feedstock supply
- Analysis of technical failures
- Process optimization and assessment of the biological condition of the plant
- Permit management and compliance with occupational safety measures
Requirements
- Degree or technical training in agricultural science, mechanical engineering, or process engineering (specialization in bioenergy or biogas)
- Several years of professional experience in the field of biogas
- Good understanding of biological processes and process-engineering operations
- Experience in personnel management
- Technical expertise in plant engineering, engine technology and gas treatment/conditioning
- Very good MS Office skills
- German language skills at native level
- Valid driving license (class B)
