Accountant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare monthly reporting packs and associated reports for assigned entities
- Assist with actual and forecast cash flow reporting
- Process month-end journals
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Maintain fixed asset registers
- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Reconcile non-operating entities on a quarterly basis
- Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations (local and foreign currency)
- Assist with preparation of BAS returns across multiple jurisdictions
- Prepare reports as required by management
- Support the wider finance team as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Good understanding of reconciliations and financial principles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and finance systems
- Ability to adapt and work in a changing environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to undertake CPA or CA
