About the role

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales, price, and margin targets, focusing on net new wins and opportunity funnel management
  • Identify customer applications and programs that present sales opportunities and develop tailored proposals
  • Lead Industrial Business Unit initiatives with OEMs, distributors, specifiers, and users
  • Conduct periodic business reviews, communicate customer forecasts, and represent the Voice of Customer to the organization
  • Develop broad relationships at customer accounts across key decision-makers and departments
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to increase share at existing accounts and drive specifications for pull-through sales
  • Travel frequently domestically and internationally to support customer engagements (up to 75%)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of customer-facing account management and sales development experience with industrial markets and/or hydraulic products
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and productivity skills
  • Technical expertise and customer-facing skills (ability to understand customer needs and develop solutions)
  • Ability to travel up to 75% (domestic and international), primarily in the USA and Canada
