About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Enable business units’ strategy and operations by providing practical, solution-oriented approaches to complex legal issues.
Be a leader and primary contact globally, directly partner with leaders on significant challenges.
Serve as a legal subject matter expert and strategic advisor on cross-functional projects.
Partner with specialist attorneys on matters like IP, employment, regulatory, compliance, M&A.
Manage commercial and other disputes, including litigations.
Help identify, design, and implement continuous process improvement initiatives using DBS tools.
Support other Danaher operating companies in the Diagnostic/IVD and Life Sciences markets from time to time.

Requirements

What you’ll need

JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
6+ years of experience with complex commercial and corporate transactions, including 3+ years of experience in a large law firm transactional practice.
Excellent writing and contract drafting skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate and work effectively with associates at all levels of the company.
