About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead operational strategy and execution across PMO, integration, capacity planning, and business continuity.
  • Drive business priorities and scalable growth.
  • Own roadmap development, business case prioritization, and strategic program execution.
  • Advance AI enablement and data science capabilities to support smart manufacturing.
  • Report to the Vice President, Global Operations.
  • Drive end-to-end project execution for key operational priorities, including site-based initiatives such as Fargo and other critical business programs.
  • Develop and manage the operational strategy roadmap, aligning cross-functional priorities with business objectives, growth plans, and enterprise goals.
  • Lead integration planning and execution for major operational initiatives across teams, processes, and systems.
  • Prioritize and evaluate business cases to guide investment decisions, resource allocation, and strategic focus across the operations portfolio.
  • Identify and scale smart manufacturing opportunities that improve operational performance and accelerate innovation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field with 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, operations, program management, or business transformation preferred; advanced degree preferred.
  • Several years of people leadership experience.
  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Proven success leading multiple cross-functional strategic initiatives or enterprise programs with measurable business impact in a manufacturing, life sciences, or similarly complex operating environment.
  • Experience developing and executing multi-year operational roadmaps, prioritizing business cases, and driving decisions tied to investment, capacity, or growth objectives.
  • Experience leading integration planning, business continuity, and long-range capacity planning for large-scale operations or multi-site environments.
  • Hands-on experience sponsoring or implementing AI, smart manufacturing, digital, or data science initiatives that improved operational performance, efficiency, or decision-making.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders across functions and sites to deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Ability to travel approximately 35%.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as life sciences, biotechnology, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
  • Experience leading digital transformation, smart manufacturing, or advanced analytics initiatives within operations is a plus.
  • Experience supporting network optimization, new product introduction, or supply chain strategy in a multi-site environment is a plus.
