About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and continuously improve IT portfolio governance processes
  • Coordinate demand intake, prioritization, portfolio reviews, reporting activities, governance administration, and evaluation of initiatives against business priorities and capacity constraints
  • Maintain portfolio data integrity and governance visibility
  • Prepare portfolio reports, dashboards, metrics, and analytics
  • Facilitate governance discussions, decision-making, and continuous improvement activities
  • Support PMO process adoption and operational excellence
  • Improve PMO processes, tools, operating procedures, governance practices, stakeholder engagement, and communication initiatives
  • Develop and maintain PMO tools, templates, governance artifacts, demand and portfolio management templates, project lifecycle documentation, knowledge repositories, and project information
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to project managers, resource managers, and project teams on PMO processes, tools, methodologies, portfolio management practices, and governance requirements
  • Partner with IT and business leadership, project managers, resource managers, and business stakeholders to support consistent governance and informed decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting PMO operations, portfolio management, governance, demand management, or related functions
  • 3–5 years of experience working with project and portfolio management methodologies
  • Experience supporting project or program delivery activities within IT organizations
  • Experience preparing portfolio reports, governance materials, dashboards, and executive presentations
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Copilot
  • Previous experience supporting or leading enterprise portfolio governance forums is a plus
  • Previous experience managing and maintaining governance artifacts, systems, and repositories is a plus
