About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare customers for and complete validation studies on Chemistry and Immunoassay instrumentation
  • Perform instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons
  • Provide onsite and remote phone support for assay- and QC-related questions
  • Provide onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation
  • Address operational and performance questions according to specifications and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with customer Key Operators during validation to reinforce training and ensure readiness
  • Partner with Tech Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree with a minimum combined experience of 3+ years in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or related field
  • Advanced understanding of diagnostics or the healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory regulatory environments
  • Willingness to work remotely and travel domestically at least 95% of the time
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb
  • Preferred: medical technology experience
  • Preferred: standard laboratory practices, including quality control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements such as CAP, CLIA, and COLA
