About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare customers for and complete validation studies on Chemistry and Immunoassay instrumentation
Perform instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons
Provide onsite and remote phone support for assay- and QC-related questions
Provide onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation
Address operational and performance questions according to specifications and regulatory standards
Collaborate with customer Key Operators during validation to reinforce training and ensure readiness
Partner with Tech Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate's degree with a minimum combined experience of 3+ years in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or related field
Advanced understanding of diagnostics or the healthcare industry
Strong knowledge of laboratory regulatory environments
Willingness to work remotely and travel domestically at least 95% of the time
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb
Preferred: medical technology experience
Preferred: standard laboratory practices, including quality control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements such as CAP, CLIA, and COLA
