About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement strategic engagement plans with KOLs, clinicians, laboratorians, and medical societies in cardiometabolic diagnostics
  • Support clinical studies and research initiatives with scientific and technical expertise
  • Maintain communication with external KOLs and authors
  • Train MSL teams on research funnel opportunities and positioning
  • Act as a scientific authority in cardiometabolic diagnostics
  • Provide medical, scientific, and practical education to internal and external collaborators
  • Communicate complex scientific information across the MSL organization
  • Provide clinical support during voice-of-customer sessions
  • Monitor current research, publications, and emerging cardiometabolic trends
  • Prepare presentation materials and participate in symposia, conferences, and educational programs
  • Train Sales and Marketing teams on scientific messaging
  • Bridge Beckman Coulter with cardiometabolic customers through product, business, and literature expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master’s/Doctoral degree with 5+ years of healthcare industry experience
  • Substantial understanding of the relevant therapeutic area
  • Extensive knowledge of cardiometabolic diagnostics and techniques preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies, regulatory guidelines, and medical terminology
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with KOLs, clinicians, and healthcare professionals
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to scientific and non-scientific audiences
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 20–25% of the time, domestically and internationally
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • 10+ years of product and domain knowledge of healthcare technologies and market trends is a plus
  • 5+ years of MSL/Medical Affairs experience in medical technology or medical device Medical or Clinical Affairs roles is a plus
  • PhD, MBA, or Master’s degree in a business-related field is a plus
