About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage development elements of biomanufacturing projects supporting client programs and services
  • Oversee complex biomanufacturing projects using department standards and tools
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, internal stakeholders, Program Managers, and clients
  • Maintain project timeline data and communicate project status updates
  • Manage project changes and ensure timely achievement of key milestones
  • Track and drive completion of action items and project deliverables
  • Proactively identify obstacles and work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute solutions
  • Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks with internal and external stakeholders
  • Preserve and strengthen professional relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in method development, method validation, quality control, biomanufacturing validation, process development, or technology transfer is preferred
  • Proven experience successfully leading relevant departments and/or managing complex projects
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in SmartSheet, OneNote, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and presentation capabilities
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel 10% or more
  • CDMO environment experience is a plus
