About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead key projects and cross functional teams in the MedSci function, ensuring those projects are delivered on time, in scope and within budget
- Drive execution of MedSci projects using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools such as VPM, VSM, Daily Management, and Action Plans, as well as fundamental tools like Smartsheet, Miro and Microsoft suite
- Apply problem solving principles to resolve critical issues
- Provides operations support for Medical Affairs objectives, KPIs and sustainment of existing standard work
- Partner with internal and external resources to deliver MedSci evidence site effectiveness, Medical insights generation, and reporting on key projects
- Support processing of Medical affairs clinical and medical content for external facing audiences through internal approval processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a scientific/engineering field with preference for 7+ years’ experience in program management, or Advanced degree (PhD, MD) in biological science with preference for 4+ years' experience in program management
- Ability to work independently with cross-functional partners
- Ability to discern and make balanced decisions and interpret internal or external business issues for best practice recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and willingness to continuously improve together with the business
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous experience in in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) is a plus
- Understanding of product lifecycle from concept to commercial execution is a plus
- PMP certification a plus; must be willing to work toward PMP if not currently certified
- Medical affairs experience is a plus
